I provide two services: classwork assistance in middle- and high-school math and related classes, and standardized-test math preparation for students likely to score higher than SSAT 330 / SAT 600 or equivalent without my help.  Both are accomplished through regular meetings that enrich and guide between-meeting student preparation. 

I am a helping hand to my students, a proactive collaborator with their teachers, and a strategic consultant for their parents.

I finished my secondary education at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana, where I captained the math team, and graduated with an SB in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT in 1992, with a minor in music.  I have been a full-time professional math tutor since 2002, and also maintain a part-time touring schedule as a professional musician and educator.  I aspire to the Renaissance ideal of excellence in multiple fields, and consider math, music, and teaching to be my primary callings.  More details are available at www.wescarroll.com.
